Settling In

So we’re finally settled in, sort of. We’re staying in a three-bedroom condo courtesy of Lynn’s brother Russ. The final truck-load-to-storage delivery was miserable. We packed a 14 foot truck to the brim, and we still had more stuff to pack. So we went back to U-Haul and rented an open trailer. Tour of Waxhaw

Downtown WaxhawOn Saturday, we took the kids and walked around downtown Waxhaw. We immediately noticed the artistic influence of Tom Risser. Later, while driving through other parts of Waxhaw, we stumbled across a fancy mailbox… I wonder who’s house that was?

Siding Going On

Framing Started

Foundation Completed

Cleared Site with FoundationOur Realtor sent us this photo which shows the foundation is complete. The brick piers will eventually outline the wrap-around front porch.
